Wheelchair Curling

Curling is a Winter Olympic Sport that is open to everyone from any age and any ability. Wheelchair curling had its first World Championship in 2002 and was welcomed into the Paralympic Games in 2006

Wheelchair users or those with mobility issues are very welcome and can be coached to use a delivery stick which allows them to play in a normal game of curling with any of our clubs.

At Greenacres we have a ramp to enter the bar area and the curling rink and we have a wheelchair accessible toilet

We also have 2 qualified coaches currently using a wheelchair
