Beresford Ladies Curling Club was formed in 1955 when a group of ladies, who played at Ayr ice rink, were finding it increasingly difficult to become part of a regular rink or acquire ice time. Since then, we have evolved and developed into the club we are today, offering competitive yet friendly curling to all abilities.
A unique feature of the club is that, since its conception, it has been a teaching club where more experienced players nurture and support less experienced members. We also offer formal coaching sessions.
We are a fun yet competitive club, steeped in history and keen to embrace the future of our sport.
We are proud to be a ladies only club and we welcome women and girls from all backgrounds and abilities.
New members are most welcome. If you would like to join us for some fun and competitive curling on a Wednesday morning please come and join us.
We hold a number of social curling and non-curling events throughout the year to enable our non-playing members to stay connected with the club.
