Neilston Curling Club was formed in 1875 and currently has a membership of around 20 regular curlers plus reserves who play in a variety of friendly competitions within the club and also in the Province. In addition, we have an ‘away day’ of curling at another rink once a year - one time we even went to the Netherlands! (yes, it’s possible in a day!!)
There are some wonderful trophies and prizes to win, points, pairs, doubles, bonspiels and leagues
The majority of the membership live in the village or have a connection to Neilston, but it’s not a requirement for membership, it just makes the socialising a bit more convenient - you’re welcome to join us.
You could be playing with us every week, and maybe be selected to play in Province and other competitions
We are a very sociable club with the majority of the membership playing every week and in different configurations so we get to see each other, with dinners, lunches and other events including summer floor curling. We also play in friendly inter-club bonspiels
