Formed in 1982, and comprising initially of mainly lady members, Threepwood CC continues to enjoy a very much relaxed friendly group of members, mainly retirees, who look forward to meeting up for a game of curling and chat on most Friday afternoons throughout the curling season.
Our group of members comprise of quite mixed ability players, and while there is always some friendly banter during play, and everyone “plays to win”, the fair spirit of the game is always observed. ……”No Pressure”
A warm welcome would be given to all new members. Currently we organise three internal league competitions spread across the season, and all members enjoy our Bonspiel games at the start of the season, at Christmas, and at our close and AGM.
The club also enjoys a couple of inter-club friendly events, with a bite to eat and game of curling to determine who takes home the trophy.
